Privacy Policy

How Aspire SEND CIC collects, uses and protects your information.

Last updated: July 2026

Who we are

Aspire SEND CIC ("we", "us", "our") is a Community Interest Company providing specialist post-16 transition and independence support for young people with SEND aged 16–25, based in London. Company number 17316423. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us. The main way we do this is through our contact form and direct channels:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, the option you select for "I am a", and the message you write.
  • Email or WhatsApp: whatever information you choose to share when you email hello@aspiresend.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp.

Our contact form and newsletter sign-up are processed by Formspree, a third-party form provider, which sends your submission to us by email and does not use it for any other purpose. See Formspree's privacy policy for how they handle data in transit.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver support, coordinate with professionals or partners where relevant with your consent, and to keep basic records of our communication with you. We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Our legal basis for processing

We rely on your consent when you contact us, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and delivering our services. Where we provide direct support to a young person, we handle information as needed to deliver that support safely, and in line with our safeguarding responsibilities.

Sharing your information

We don't share your information with third parties except where necessary to provide support (for example, liaising with a school, college, Family Hub or local authority already involved, and only with appropriate consent), where we're required to by law, or where there is a safeguarding concern. Our contact and newsletter forms are delivered via Formspree, which processes submissions on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. If you contact us via WhatsApp, your message is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, as it is run by Meta.

Young people's information and safeguarding

Because we work with young people with SEND, we take particular care with any information relating to a young person's needs, wellbeing or safety. This information is only used to provide appropriate support, and is only shared with relevant professionals where necessary and, wherever possible, with consent — except where we have a safeguarding duty to act without consent to protect a young person from harm.

Cookies

We use your browser's local storage to remember your cookie preference, which is essential and can't be switched off. With your consent, we also use Vercel Analytics to understand anonymously how the site is used — it doesn't use cookies or collect any personal data, and never tracks you individually or across other websites. You can accept, reject or change this at any time using the cookie banner. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

How long we keep your information

We keep information for no longer than necessary to provide support and meet our legal and regulatory obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect any information you share with us and to only make it accessible to people who need it to support you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.

Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, or you'd like to make a complaint, contact us at hello@aspiresend.co.uk. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
